India’s Own Garden Form
In India even the garden at Rashtrapati Bhawan is called Mughal Garden! So on the very first opportunity we got we decided to create India’s own Garden Type that we have named Phulkari Gardens. The very first one with its own vantage points (two OATs) and a lot of history of undivided Punjab is being completed at the India-Pakistan Border at Amritsar on a site of about 10 acres split in two parts along NH 3. It also acts like a grand open Foyer for the parade stadium that is very popular destination every evening – on weekends it attracts up to 25000 visitors. NHAI Chairman Dr. S.S. Sandhu is the force behind this unique project under Green Highways.
