Master Planning of AGA Cricket Stadium
The project was conceived by AGA (Amritsar Games Association) to revive a very old cricket ground of India. Originally the ground was about 15 acres but some politician bifurcated the ground and the remaining site available for the cricketing purposes is only 8.74 acres. Due to change in political leadership the project was shelved at the planning stages itself.
