This was executed by NHAI on the road stretch abutting the BSF Campus on NH 3, Amritsar. Due to security reasons no trees are allowed by BSF therefore we had to limit our plant selection to hardy all season verities. The planting beds are made in ‘Phulkari Pattern’. We are creating India’s own garden form called Phulkari Gardens that is not ‘char bagh’ or any Mughal garden style. The India’s own garden form uses bright colors and geometric shapes – inspired from the stitching of Punjab / Haryana / Delhi, called Phulkari.
